9m kõrgune ja 1m paksune sein ühe valuga.
Apart from the two pylons, a total of nine double piers are being constructed on both sides of the ravine which are braced by means of massive cross beams.
For the 1,083 m long Trmice motorway bridge near Aussig in the Czech Republic, 59 piers were cost-effectively formed using PERI formwork.
The large spans in the middle bridge sections were concreted by means of the balanced cantilever method.
Thanks to the detailed planning provided by PERI engineers and high flexibility of the PERI balanced cantilever equipment, the superstructure of the cable stay bridge could be completed according to the schedule.
With some supplementary system components, the VARIOKIT engineering construction kit can also be used for the balanced cantilever construction method. For the construction of the motorway bridge near Tarnow, the construction crew achieved a 4 to 5-day cycle thanks to the easy to use, mechanical solution. At the same time, the high requirements concerning the very small tolerances for the variable bridge cross-sections could be fulfilled.
Up to 30 m high VARIOKIT VST heavy-duty shoring towers served as falsework for the construction of the bridge edge sections. Each leg carried a load of around 600 kN.
The 258 m long and 50 m high arched bridge crosses the Opamo Valley in the Bohemian Forest.
In the complex area with an extremely tight outer radius, the concentrated loads of the radially-arranged cantilever brackets are transferred into the available bridge piers by means of pressure supports.
A VARIOKIT cantilevered parapet carriage serves for constructing the external cantilevered parapets. The horizontal loads are transferred via friction, anchoring is not required.
In the area of the double piers, 14 complete ACS self-climbing units with telescopic working platforms were used.
PERI UP Rosett formed the falsework construction and was erected according to the type test. The tight construction schedule required support along the entire length of 75 m.
The drum formwork was integrated with heavy-duty trusses comprising RCS rail frames and heavy-duty rollers to facilitate movement.
The southern entrance area was constructed using the cut-and-cover method for a length of around 1.5 km. With the two PERI formwork carriages, the walls and slabs of the two separate tunnels could be cost-effectively concreted in one pour.
The Tideway project will redirect sewage overspill from the most polluting overflow points via purpose-built shafts along the River Thames.
In 25 m long concreting steps and four cycle sequences, the tunnel bottom plate, two wall sections respectively and then the slab could be concreted one after the other.
In the US state of Louisiana, three enormous liquid gas tanks were simultaneously realized using PERI know-how. Each of the structures has an 80 m diameter and a wall height of 44 m.
For the power plant construction in Eemshaven, the industrial scaffold system PERI UP has clearly demonstrated its flexibility and adaptability.
Easy to mount and move manually
A total of 9 circular piers with 3.60 m diameters and 40 cm wall thicknesses will subsequently carry a steel platform for the condenser.
The LGS Weather Protection Roof on the basis of the PERI UP Scaffolding System made the roof renovation independent of the weather. The 90 m long protection roof consisted of 3 m wide and nearly 30 m long LGS segments.
Cost-effective PERI climbing concept: with a complete platform level and halved on-site wall formwork requirements, fast and continuous working operations were achieved.
With the selected PERI formwork and scaffolding systems, the construction team was able to cost-effectively fulfil all requirements in spite of the tight construction schedule. The solutions developed by PERI engineers and the local site management, along with support provided by PERI specialists, contributed to efficient and problem-free construction.
The variable VARIO girder wall formwork, together with SKS climbing scaffold, formed large area transportable units.
For extending the cement plant, engineers from PERI Ukraine designed a comprehensive and sophisticated formwork and scaffolding solution.
More than 12 months after starting the development work on the Panama Canal, the dimensions and the massive structural elements are clearly visible.
PERI supplied a project-specific formwork and scaffolding solution and supported with comprehensive engineering services for the construction of the 108-m-high complex dam on the River Tua in Portugal.
The two-storey supporting structure, with a height of 25 metres, accommodates the sorption installation for the flue gas desulphurisation.
